What a better way to free and detox your mind and soul other than visiting to a wellness retreat? There is something special about the calmness, purity and relaxation on arriving at a wellness retreat.

My aim and design intent is for people to achieve this immediate sense of serenity whilst entering the building. The design of these wellness centers has a huge impact on the visitor’s experience.

The sensory experience is what sets the wellness hospitality design apart: Sound and fragrance, touch (the feel of materials), sight (outside inside). Space, as Circulation schemes are key to transitioning guests into the wellness experience. Also, by bringing the outdoors inside, particularly while emphasizing the relationship between the Silo D & the dock. My circular economy will focus upon reuse. People using seaweed from the water and making natural products. This will also create a relationship with the site and its surrounding water.
