My name is Carla Youssef, I am a fresh graduate of Kingston University in London with a bachelor's degree in Interior Design. Demonstrating my ability and commitment to pursuing a career in this field, I have completed a foundation year in Art & Design: Communication at the University of Arts in London.

What makes me distinctive is my broad passion in the field of Art and Design. I appreciate all forms of Art and Design which allows me to experiment and assess in different ways. I come from a family who work in the field of art and design and I have had the privilege to learn about interior design at a young age by my father.

During my educational years, I have learnt a lot about the process of interior design. I have developed my skills in communication, problem-solving, critical thinking and also working in a team. My strengths lie in my capacity to understand and deliver a client’s needs in a creative and innovative way. My professional skills include working with: AutoCad, Photoshop, VectorWorks, Painting and Sketching. I particularly enjoy sketching as it allows me to deliver a quick and efficient form of visualization of my design approach. My purpose in pursuing the study of design is to reach deep into people’s desires by keeping the client involved and engaged. In order to create a successful concept it is crucial to me to keep connecting with the client. My aim is to improve the user experience and their quality of life through my work. Moreover, my background and driving ambition, in addition to my hunger for new knowledge, experience and social interaction will hopefully be a humble offering to this profession.
